LORILEE
Recreational Koach
Hometown: Somerset, Kentucky
Has been working at The Klub since: 2026
Hobbies: Hosting Mrs. Roper Romp events (I’m the LA group president!), gardening, attending Art Deco Society functions, people watching in Larchmont, taking piano lessons, visiting all the many art/photo galleries in town, and being a human jungle gym for the foster dogs staying at my house.
Favorite Book, TV Show, or Movie: Fave Book: I’m a huge fan of David Sedaris’s books & short stories!
Fave Show: Anything with Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke and/or Bob Newhart. (It’s true, I have the tv viewing habits of a centenarian.) And…Saved By The Bell.
Fun fact: I have 1 older brother and 5 younger sisters…I also had a service dog named Dick Van Dyke!
What's your gymnastics background?: I was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader for many, many years while growing up in Kentucky. It was during that period, at age 13, that I taught my very first gymnastics class. I continued teaching at the gym where I’d grown up throughout college.
(During the college years, I also worked for UCA & NCA as a cheer competition coordinator all over the country.)
Upon finishing college, I taught infant/toddler/preschool and girls rec classes while living in Park City, Utah.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?: Initially, I wanted to “be” one of the Magnificent Seven — Shannon Miller was my girl! There was also a very long time that I planned on being a pediatric oncologist at St Jude (What can I say? Those commercials with Marlo Thomas really had an impact!)
Ultimately, I became a journalist & then worked in tv & film…until coming to The Klub!
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?: Teleportation would be super amazing! You avoid traffic & can instantly be somewhere else when you’re bored.
