Similar to One Pea, Two Peas is a parent-assisted class that offers opportunities for social learning through sharing props and participating in group activities.
The Two Peas program is designed to capitalize on the rapidly improving, physical, cognitive, and language development of two-year-olds. Two Peas learn to do a wide variety of gross motor skills with their developing synchronization: step, hold, and balance on alternate feet, roll forward, backward, and sideways down a wedge, transfer weight from feet to hands and back, and overall run more proficiently. Two Peas are introduced to concepts of recognition, compare and contrast, and distinction through use of basic shapes in equipment and learning resources used in class.
Two Peas is designed to provide a multi-sensory, educational gymnastics experience that engages their temporal and frontal lobes to promote higher cognitive processing through language and tone. Similar to One Pea, Two Peas also offers opportunities for social learning through sharing props and participating in group activities. Our Two Peas goal is to provide fun, quality gymnastics activities that allow toddlers opportunities to express their newfound independence. |
